This course is designed to explore and discuss contemporary issues in accounting. The topics cover relevant topics from seminal paper and recently published research articles (as listed in the Table Weekly Learning Activity Plan). To provide students with contemporary topics from lecturers from various fields and backgrounds, this course is facilitated by a team of lecturers. This course facilitate student to gain comprehensive accounting knowledge from perspective of theories, literatures, methodologies, results, contributions and implications from the articles discussed. After learnings from this course, students are expected to be able to produce contemporary and original ideas for their doctorate thesis (dissertation) and articles that are potentially publishable in reputable international journals.
