Pelatihan PJJ Seamolec: English for Instructional Purposes

This course is aimed at facilitating the student teachers in learning (a) about classroom English and (b) to use it for different classroom purposes. To reach this aim, the course will deal with the knowledge of and skills to use classroom English, such as oral presentation skills & classroom discipline; establishing classroom routines; organising the class, and ending the class. The student teachers will be involved in analyzing classroom English practice texts to identify effective classroom English, and practising various classroom English expressions in two stages: discrete practice and practice in simulated micro teaching. Assessment of their learning progress will be done through rating their performance, both discretely and in microteaching practicess, and marking their assignment.
