This course is designed for UNY students to enhance their general English proficiency, develop technical and discipline-specific vocabulary relevant to particular fields of study or professional contexts, strengthen communication skills, and prepare students for entry into the workforce and/or further studies at higher levels of education. The learning materials include authentic texts aligned with students’ fields of study, such as textbooks, popular articles, scholarly articles, infographics, and technical manuals. The course focuses on the comprehension and production of various types of academic and professional spoken and written texts, including descriptive, procedural, argumentative, and hortatory exposition texts. The instructional approach adopts the Teaching and Learning Cycle from the Genre-Based Approach and integrates case-based and project-based learning. Learning activities consist of face-to-face lectures, discussions, individual and group assignments, case studies, and presentations. Assessment is conducted through written assignments, classroom observations, mid-term examinations, and final examinations/or a context-based final project related to students’ disciplinary fields.

Selamat datang pada perkuliahan Metodologi Penelitian Pendidikan. Anda akan mengikuti perkuliahan selama 16 kali pertemuan melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh. Moda perkuliahan akan menggunakan besmart sedangkan untuk komunikasi cdepat menggunakan moda WAG. Penggunaan moda web meeting akan digunakan pada awal perkuliahan dan selanjutnya moda web meeting digunakan pada setiap minggu ke-4. Adapun pada minggu-minggu lain Saudara wajib menggunakan besmart untuk mengakses modul, penugasan, dan forum diskusi.

Statistics for Language Teaching 2020-Nur Hidayanto

Mata Kuliah ini bertujuan memberi bekal kompetensi kepada mahasiswa untuk memanfaatkan teknik-teknik analisis statistik, baik yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran, misal­nya dalam penilaian kemampuan ber­bahasa, maupun yang berkaitan de­ngan penelitian. Bahan kuliah meli­puti dasar-dasar statistik, jenis-jenis data, penyajian data dalam bentuk chart dan tabel, statistik deskriptif, dan pengujian hipotesis. Kegiatan perkuliahan dilaksanakan melalui kuliah di dalam kelas, diskusi, praktik pemanfaatan program komputer un­tuk melakukan analisis statistik, tugas individu dan tugas kelompok. Peni­laian dilakukan dengan memper­tim­bangkan hasil ujian tengah semester, hasil ujian akhir semester, tugas ke­lompok dan tugas individu, serta ke­aktifan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan per­kuliahan.
